Fit Mum Squad UK – Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: June 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in all pre and postnatal fitness classes provided by Fit Mum Squad UK. By booking or attending a class, you agree to the following:

1. Eligibility and Health Requirements

You must receive clearance from your GP before participating. This will often be done at the 6 week check.

It is your responsibility to notify me of any medical condition, complication, or injury (including but not limited to pelvic floor dysfunction, diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse. If you discover these during a class, you will be advised to visit a pelvic floor physiotherapist, in order for us to get a broader picture. While you will still be able to attend classes, some movements may be adapted/regressed to enable your recovery.

You must complete a Pre-Exercise Health Screening Questionnaire (PAR-Q) prior to your first class. This will enable me to understand you better and aid me in helping you in the best way possible.

If there is a change to your health circumstances, e.g. illness, injury, etc., your health screening questionnaire must be updated.

2. Bookings, cancellations and payments

All classes must be booked in advance via our official booking system - LegitFit

Payment is required at the time of booking unless stated otherwise. These are processed through LegitFit and Stripe directly to Jade at Fit Mum Squad UK.

Payments are taken in 6 block bookings and drop in classes are not provided at this time. In certain cases, such as return to work after maternity, or long holiday bookings, a half term booking of 3 classes may be provided. This must be discussed with me prior to booking and this will be at my discretion. Class packs and memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Missed classes. If you will miss or cancel class for any reason, you may attend another class in the 6 week period as a catch up. This will be subject to space, and suitability and arranged by contacting Jade at Fit Mum Squad UK directly. No refunds will be given.

If a class is cancelled by your instructor, you will receive another date to make up the session so you still get your 6 class entitlement.

3. Babies and children

Babies and children are welcome at all classes unless otherwise stated to ensure that you can make time for your exercise. While Fit Mum Squad UK is committed to safeguarding yourself and your children, they will remain sole responsibility of the parents when attending classes. Fit Mum Squad UK will not accept any responsibility for any injury or accident to your child during class.

A small baby changing station will be available at each venue and bottle or breastfeeding during sessions is welcomed. It is recommended that your babies are fed prior to the session to enable you to focus more on your movement. However, I completely understand that this is not always possible.

Permission will need to be obtained for more than one child to attend due to lack of space at some venues. If older children are accepted to attend, they can join in or should be given something to keep them entertained to enable you to concentrate on your movement - this is your time.

You do not have to bring your baby if you would rather take the time for you and if you have other childcare arrangement.

5. Photography and Social Media

Occasionally, I may take photographs or videos during sessions for promotional use. You will always be informed in advance, and consent will be sought. You may opt out at any time. Babies faces will be avoided for blurred out for safeguarding purposes.

6. Code of Conduct

Respect for instructors and fellow participants is expected at all times.

Disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the class or program without refund.

All classes should remain a safe space for women with no judgement. Shaming any mums for their choices will not be tolerated.

7. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify class schedules, locations, pricing, or these terms at any time. You will be notified of any material changes. As new services become available, you will be notified in adequate time frames.
